ABOUT Active Life Snow Club
Active Life Snow Club (ALSC) offers a range of professional skiing and snowboarding lessons in Madarao Kogen Resort, along with a superb inbound guided tour of Madarao, exclusively to Active Life guests!
Complimentary beginner adult group lessons, including complimentary all-day kids group lessons are available to guests staying in any of hotels in Madarao, for a minimum of 4 nights between the 28th of December 2020 and the 14th of February 2021.
During the same period, we also offer private lessons, advanced lessons and our inbound guided tour of Madarao, exclusively to our guests, at incredibly competitive Active-Life-guest-only prices and without any minimum-stay restriction!
We love Madarao! Madarao Ski Resort offers some of the very best terrain and snowfall in Japan. We want our guests to enjoy their holiday experience to the fullest. That’s why our daily lessons will focus on three core principles: fun, safety and progression. Our mission is simple: to provide the best possible guest experience!
ALSC offers both female and male instructors – All of our instructors are certified under the ISIA governing system and are employed carefully based on a specific range of skills and attributes that focuses on safety, attention to detail, emotional intelligence and integrity.
Complimentary Kids Group Lessons
we have introduced our complimentary all-day kids’ lessons for children aged between 5 and 14. Snow Club members enjoy the benefit of dropping off their kids for lessons in the morning, then picking them up at the end of the day!
You will know that we provide a fun and safe environment with the goal of making them a better skier or snowboarder.
Complimentary Adult Group Beginner Lessons
We take pride in offering 2.5-hour lessons where every guest/student can learn without rushing through the lesson. Lesson sizes and instructor numbers for each class may vary daily, however we guarantee that even for 1 student, the lesson will go ahead!
Adult Advanced Group Lessons
Our goal is molding a confident skier or snowboarder focusing on tactics, variation in turns and control of speed in steeper runs. Exclusively priced for Active Life guests with no minimum stay limit!
Adult Private Lessons
Short on time, patience or just want all the attention to yourself or your group? Private lessons range from half-day lessons, 1-day, 2-day and 3-day lessons and are incredibly priced for all Active Life guests!
Inbound Guided Tours of Madarao
Available to both skiers and riders in the same session, our inbound guided tour is perfect for those seeking to explore the hidden gems of Madarao. Sessions are hosted by our professional instructor.
Important Notice for parents
Terms & Conditions:
- Complimentary lessons are available to guests who fulfil the Complimentary Lessons promotion requirements. Visit beactive.life/offers for details.
- All paid lesson bookings are non-refundable.
- For all booked lessons, no-shows will be charged 3000 yen per person. Proceeds of this will be donated to the Madarao clean-up fund at the conclusion of our winter season.
- Lessons are unlimited per eligible guest per day during their accommodation period. However, ALSC reserves the right to limit class student numbers by limiting entry to those who have undertaken the same lesson on an adjacent day.
- Lessons must be booked and confirmed following the confirmation of your room reservation.
- Cancelling your room reservation will cancel your lesson.
- Lesson sizes (the number of students) in each lesson may vary from day to day.
- Snow sports, including skiing and snowboarding, are all potentially hazardous. In recognition of the inherent risks associated in participating in lessons, you (guests and legal guardians of guests in lessons and/or guided tours) provided by Active Life Snow Club agree to release Active Life, and individuals representing Active Life Snow Club of all legal responsibility from actions of any individual or group, in the unlikely event that may cause unintentional injury or death to guests or others.
